Ross Lessons 3 & 4 (see link above for Assignments for Each Lesson of Ross); Complete the two Quizzes on Lesson 1 (Alphabet quiz and general Lesson 1 quiz); Be prepared to take Quiz on Lesson 2 in class (transliteration, vowels, syllable divisions and labeling, vocab).

Ross Lessons 5, 6, & 7 (see link above for Assignments for Each Lesson of Ross; listen to animatedhebrew lectures); Complete at home the Quiz on Lesson 3; Be prepared to take Quiz on Lesson 4 in class.

We will take the quiz for Lesson 11 at the beginning of our class time on Thursday. [3] Read through the lesson in Ross Ch.41; prepare Gen 12:1-4 by analyzing the grammar, parsing verbs and other forms, and providing a suitable English gloss of the passage. For help on how to “prepare a passage” see my handout, Preparing Notes for Hebrew Text. For help with some of the irregular, weak verb forms, see my handout Helps for Gen Ch 12 vv 1-4.
Due Thursday, June 30:
